Sadly, one Australian woman loses her life to ovarian cancer every 8 hours
We've loved seeing the different ways people across the country have approached their Frocktober fundraisers over the years.
In light of the year we've all had and the current restrictions in place in parts of Australia, we're introducing even more ways you can frock up this month!
Take part in the ‘8-Hour Frocktober Challenge’ from home and share your involvement across social media.
The ‘8-Hour Challenge’ kicks off on October 1st to launch Frocktober and we encourage everyone to:
- Share a favourite frock photo on social media
- Include a Frocktober Fact and tag @ocrf, #8hourchallenge and #frocktober
- Nominate a friend to take up the challenge within 8 hours
- Sell or hold a #Frocktion for the dress in your photo, and donate the proceeds to the OCRF via this page
Anyone can participate, whether you are registered for Frocktober, or not! You can sell your dress however you choose, whether you use Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Depop or another method—all frocks sold will support vital ovarian cancer research.
Once you've sold your frock, donate the proceeds here!
