Why are we fundraising

This October, I’m frocking up for Frocktober in honour of my beautiful friend, Annalei. Annalei brought so much light, laughter and love into our lives. I’ll forever treasure our friendship, our chats and our Book Club memories. She faced ovarian cancer with so much courage, but this disease is relentless. Ovarian cancer is devastating: the five-year survival rate is just 49%. There’s still no early detection test, and treatment options haven’t significantly improved in decades. That has to change. So, this October, every time I put on a frock, I’ll be thinking of Annalei. Celebrating her life, her joy and her kindness, while also raising funds to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Each dress I wear is a step toward vital research and hopefully, a future where women like Annalei have better chances, better options, and more time with the people they love. 💜 If you can, please support my Frocktober fundraiser in Annalei’s memory.
