I'm back Frockers and we are going BIG this year! So happy to have you all with me on this never ending ride of support and awareness. As most of you know, Frocktober is very dear to my heart, it's a chance for us to get together and raise much needed funds for the OCRF and all in honour of my much missed Mum, Diana. October 4th will be 9 years since we lost her to ovarian cancer, she often pops into my mind and still visits in my dreams. If only I could hear her voice though, how nice would that be? Ovarian cancer is the eighth most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian females and compared to other gynaecological cancers, it has the highest death rate at 4.8% of all female cancers per year. 70% of women are diagnosed in the advanced stages, meaning only around 29% of these women are expected to survive beyond five years. There is NO early detection test. Let that sink in. Mum was a late stage statistic because no one listened and that lives with me every day. Help me raise funds so we can reduce these numbers, let's do it for our daughters
