Why are we fundraising
Thanks for landing here! And thanks for your support... it was a HUGE Frocktober for the Silver Lining Long Lunch team - with not only our extremely (most successful ever!) Long Lunch at the Metropole on Saturday 11th October, but also our dear friend Jake Granville shaved his amazing luscious locks off, LIVE on the Weekend Today Show, to boost our fundraising to more than $70,000! We are so appreciative of everyone who supported us and Jake - its been our most successful year yet - raising funds for vital ovarian cancer research - for all the women and girls facing this awful disease, but especially in loving memory of our mum, Sue and Jake's mum, Mary.

Introducing the people behind the Silver Lining Long Lunch - Sally, Anna and Rhi and their legendary partners, Dean and Tom.. They started the Silver Lining Long Lunch to make a difference to women and girls everywhere by raising funds for ovarian cancer research. It quickly became one of the biggest and best charity fundraisers in Townsville, and North Queensland!
