It’s Frocktober - you know what that means! Every year, I wear a different frock every day for the 31 days of October to raise awareness and importantly essential research funding for ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is a silent killer, diagnosis often comes too late and there is no non-invasive early detection test. Last year I raised over $17000 through the generosity of my wonderful friends, family and our network of fabulous people. Some people can afford to donate $5, others $500 - and every single person who donates wins my ongoing love and respect! Ovarian cancer touches so many women and people who love them. Well - it’s Day 17 and I’m overwhelmed by the generosity of so many donors! I’m going to have to set aside a whole day to thank everyone individually once this month is over. On Friday, the fundraising total ticked over $5,000 which was my original goal. I’ve just reset to $7,500 and I’m confident that we’ll get there. This is such an important cause and I’m so proud and happy to be able to be involved.
