Fact 26: Proportionally, more women die from ovarian cancer than breast cancer, due to such a high number of women being diagnosed in the advance stages of the disease. 😟

Yes, I'm a little late in posting today however I have been busy baking some yummy goodies for my little brother to celebrate his birthday today (though he is not so little as he towers over me, and we are in fact now twinnies for 6 weeks).
I have gone with a spotted animal look today to meet today's extra Group Theme being 'Animal'. I think I have achieved this, yes? 🐯

Yesterday I celebrated my second fundraising target, now having reached over $800 in donations! I have been blown away by all of your kind hearts but to reach my ultimate goal of $1000 would be amazing. As such, OCRF needs more, so dressing Frocking Fabulous I must!
Fact 9: The only way to confirm an Ovarian Cancer diagnosis is through invasive surgery and biopsy.

Frocktober 2020 Day 8👗.Today our Frocktober Group, Australian Dames of Fashion celebrate as collectively we have reached over $6000 in donations! We have been blown away by all of your kind hearts. But the OCRF needs more, so Frock On we must!
Fact 8: If caught in Stage 1, survival rates for Ovarian Cancer patients are as high as 92%. However, only 19% of cases are diagnosed early due to vagueness of symptoms and lack of an early detection screening test.

Frocktober 2020 Day 7 👗. To align with my tiger theme today, I tried to look fierce and scary, but I think all I managed was to look a little awkward 😂. My dog Louie looks more Tiger like then me 😂😂

Frocktober 2020 Day 6 .The sun is shining beautifully this morning which makes me think, why wouldn't we be outside enjoying the glorious day, and also, why wouldn't you donate if it has the potential to save some of the most important women in your lives!
Fact 6: Historically, around 70% of women diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer will find they are already in the advanced stages of the disease.
Today I achieved my fundraising $650 target I cannot thank everyone enough! Now to reach my new target
