Sue Innes is fundraising for
I'm Frocking Up to raise funds for Australia's most lethal gynaecological cancer - ovarian cancer. The five-year survival rate for ovarian cancer in Australia is just 48%, meaning those diagnosed get less than half a chance of surviving five years from their diagnosis. I want to help change the statistics and give those diagnosed with ovarian cancer a greater chance of survival. Research is the answer. Frocktober supports the OCRF - the leading non-government funder of ovarian cancer research in Australia. I'm frocking up this October to help kick ovarian cancer in the butt! Please help me support the vital work of the OCRF, and the dedicated researchers they fund, by making a donation to my page. Every dollar counts!

WEEK 2 in review
WEEK 2 Closing out week 2 of Frocktober and ready for the weekend. So far I've raised just over a third of my fundraising goal and lunchtime tomorrow marks the official halfway point of the month, so I've got a bit of bit of ground to cover if I'm to reach it. Who knows if I'll get there, but I'm so grateful for all the support I get, both moral and financial. I'm going to keep frocking my little ❤out for the rest of the month.
DAY 14 Dress by Dangerfield Jewellery by Ruby Olive Brooch by Louna Rae
DAY 14 Weekend vibes are creeping in already! The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation funds research across 4 areas: • improved treatment • managing reccurance • early detection • prevention and cure And I "frock for funds" to help them. Please consider a donation on this frocking fabulous Friday!

DAY 13 In Australia the survival rate for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer is 48% (compared with 92% for breast cancer). Both are a truly awful diagnosis to receive 💔. Many gain to be made for OC. 👗 Frocking all month long raising awareness and funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Some people consider 1️⃣3️⃣ to be an unlucky number, but I'm hoping it's a good day for donating 💰. Dig deep folks!
DAY 12 Frock - Leina and Fleur Jewellery - Ruby Olive
DAY 12 Prettiest of backdrops today at the Margot McKinney World of Wonder exhibition. NOTHING compared to the actual display 🤤. . But back to the task at hand... the development of an early detection test for ovarian cancer could lift survival rates in excess of 90% - this is key to saving over 1000 Australian women this year. Day 11
DAY 11 Channelling some warrior woman vibes with my Mulan brooch today. Legend has it she donned armour to fight for her country. Meanwhile I don frocks for womankind... because 3 Australian women die EVERY day from Ovarian Cancer. That's over 30 since I started frocking on October 1st (let that sink in). And treatments for ovarian cancer have hardly changed in the past 30 years. I think that's bloody shocking! And if you do too, please donate to my campaign to "frock off cancer!"

DAY 10 | FLORAL
09 Oct 2022
DAY 9 Coming off a high from yesterday's fundraising Frocktails event and posting about the sobering facts about ovarian cancer. "Ovarian Cancer symptoms are vague and non-specific" as listed in one of the graphics I've included here. It's no wonder it doesn't get picked up early. A detection test would make a real difference. YOU could make a REAL difference with a donation to the OCRF. Thanks to all my donors so far... Frocking LEGENDS, you are! 😘💋

DAY 8 | FROCKTOBER '22 What a day! Had a bunch of my Girl Gang over for a Frocktails soiree and it was fan-frocking-tastic! . THIS! This is the WHOLE reason I do Frocktober. I want a better world and better health options for the women I love dearly. If you do too, please send some dosh to the OCRF via the DONATE NOW button

DAY 7 | FROCKTOBER '22 Week 1 of frocking done and dusted! Thanks for all your encouragement and most importantly, donations. My tally is lagging a touch, but I remind myself this isn't a sprint. I'm just getting warmed up! 👗 My @bysamanthamelbourne binge continues with this magical magenta number. Am I done? Frock no! Tune in tomorrow for the final dress from this frock wizard. DAY 6 Dress by By Samantha Melbourne Earrings & bangles by Ruby Olive Brooch by Erstwilder
DAY 6 Ovarian Cancer AWARENESS - I could bang on about the symptoms (and rest assured I will!), but what I REALLY want people to be AWARE of is the statistics of detection and therefore survival of this disease are diabolically DIRE! And that could be a whole new ballgame if we could get an early diagnostic test in play. Funding for research is crucial. So I'll continue to flit and flounce around in my frivolous frocks to put bucks in the bank for the OCRF to maintain their focus on the task
05 Oct 2022
DAY 5 | FROCKTOBER '22 I've had today's dress (from By Samantha Melbourne) for a wee while... but drumroll pah-lease... because this is its official Frocktober debut. And strap yourselves in because I'm going to be bingeing BSM for the next few days.
DAY 4 | FROCKTOBER '22 Ovarian Cancer is represented by a Teal coloured ribbon (weirdly convenient that my charity of choice happens to be my favourite colour 🤷♀️). And today is Teal Tuesday. Why? Well because my major sponsor deemed it so! Ruby Olive have elected the OCRF as their October charity and are supporting my team the Dame fROckstars in their Frocktober campaign. They've planned a whole month of fun to put the FUN in fundraising. Check them out at rubyolive.com

DAY 1 | FROCKTOBER '22 You see, I got this ca-razy idea in my head to wear a dress to my fitness class all month long 😜 such is my commitment to the cause. So the first frock of the campaign was this tennis dress!
DAY 1 | FROCKTOBER '22 Featuring a new frock on the block. But this cute little Maiocchi Holiday dress is actually frock no. 2 for today.
